Boba Commodities first reached out to Wizard when looking to migrate its current email solution but were advised to also improve its data security whilst ensuring the business was running on the latest technologies
MIGRATING TO OFFICE 365The Request
Boba Commodities was running its emails from a POP server and were looking to migrate over to Microsoft Office 365. This solution would set up a more stable email solution for the business during growth whilst also providing better flexibility and collaboration when managing multiple accounts
Along with the request, Boba was also interested in exploring the options for additional security such as email security, endpoint security, additional security policies and a centralized location to host company data
HOW WIZARD IT HELPEDThe Solution
With Boba Commodities migrating its emails over to Microsoft Office 365, Wizard took the opportunity to offer Boba the full Microsoft stack for data/email security and SharePoint/OneDrive for hosting its personal and company data
The solution offers a fully cloud system with no requirement for any physical hardware and the opportunity for more effective flexible working
Emails – Microsoft Office 365
The email solution was migrated to Office 365 and all users were set up with a 50GB mailbox
Endpoint Security – Microsoft Office 365 Defender for Endpoint
Microsoft 365 offers Defender for Endpoint for up to 5 devices per user. This solution ties into the Microsoft Office 365 portal and is managed under one centralized hub. Defender for Endpoint offers Boba advanced security protection and live event information regarding any attacks on the machine
Email Security – Microsoft Defender for Office 365
Microsoft Office Defender for 365 is an advanced email security feature built into Office 365. The standard filtering does not offer advanced threat protection with safe links and attachments policies. These policies allow for intelligent AI and automation, creating an enterprise level of protection
Additional Security Policies – Intune/Conditional Access Policies
Boba has protected all users with EMS E5 licenses which offer the ability to enroll all company equipment within Intune. With the Intune enrollment Conditional Access policies in place, this enabled configuration of policies such as limiting access to company resources to only company endpoints, blocking access from high-risk countries, and enforcing MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). This added an additional layer of security
Centralized Location for Company Data – SharePoint
Boba was hosting data in multiple locations. Wizard advised migrating all company data to SharePoint and creating multiple subsites for the different departments. SharePoint offers a wide range of collaboration and the flexibility options when working from multiple locations. Hosting data in SharePoint alongside the additional security above ensured the highest level of data security for Boba Commodities

- All services under one solution using Microsoft Office 365
- No requirement for on-premises servers as all cloud-based
