What’s the lowdown on Windows 7
Are you still using Windows 7? If so, you need to be aware that free support is ending.
From January 14th 2020 Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7 for free making it increasingly unsafe to use.
Businesses will be able to pay Microsoft for continued support. However, this option isn’t available to consumers. This means you’ll have to choose between using an unsupported operating system or upgrading to Windows 10.
For those who are not bothered about upgrading to Windows 10, they may find that in the long-term that Windows 7 is likely to get more insecure and more buggy, as no updates will have been released to fix it.
With time running out, you should consider upgrading to Windows 10. Or find an alternative system.
